The Courses Explained
Medical Certificate
This course is the cornerstone of your training in clinical hypnosis.
The Medical Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis (MCCH) is a stand-alone programme offering a hands on introduction to clinical hypnosis, practical methods for communication and other soft skills and stress management techniques. It is also the cornerstone of all formal clinical hypnosis training.
The MCCH is just the beginning and a growing number of medical professionals choose to include clinical hypnosis as an adjunct or sub-specialisation in the work that they do.
Adjunct or Sub-specialisation Participants who elect to include clinical hypnosis as an adjunct may prefer a short practical route. Specialist Medical Modules (SMM) are short three weekend courses providing specific clinical hypnosis techniques that can be included into an existing area of specialisation. Current SMMs include pain management, obstetrics and dentistry. The study of clinical hypnosis is fascinating and the implications of integrative practice far reaching. The Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (MDCH) provides a much considered and comprehensive route, for participants wishing to sub-specialise. Advanced Practitioner in Clinical Hypnotherapy (PDCH) provides participants with specialist skills for difficult clinical scenarios, complex conditions and the increasing number of patients presenting with deep-seated psychological trauma.
