You will benefit from an exciting new way of working with patients.
CBT offers an evidence-based method for working with patients and helps you to develop a broad spectrum of skills to help patients with anxiety, depression, behavior change and negative mindset.
What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Expect change and it will come and gently take you by the hand CBT is an action-oriented humanistic approach to emotional growth that places emphasis on an individual's ability to create, change, and control their own emotional states. Therapists will acquire the skills to help their patients deal effectively on the past by focusing on the present. This unique approach helps patients implement healthy and realistic alternatives to existing psychological conflicts or problematic thoughts. You will work closely with your patient, helping them to uncover the unhelpful sets of beliefs, attitudes, and expectations that led them to emotional distress and holding on to the symptom. The CBT certificate course allows you to explore a novel philosophical approach to treatment and life. Many people who have completed CBT acquire an internal model which helps them to effectively challenge those obstacles to patient progress that are typically faced in everyday practice. CBT helps patients to develop a philosophy and way of living that will increase wellbeing, self-efficacy and happiness in all areas of their life. You will explore the application of CBH to many presenting symptoms and to many types of patients. The course is both theoretical and practical with practitioners developing a solid experiential understanding of the practical application of CBT.
