His vision to create a formal training programme for clinical hypnotherapy has resulted in the first Masters Degree (MSc) in clinical hypnotherapy. Michael has successfully integrated European, British and Ericksonian approach to creates a global model. He is a Fellow of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is recognized by the Brand Laureate of Malaysia. Michael Joseph established and is the publisher of the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis (EJCH) and founder President of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is the originator of the full LCCH training programme

Sheila Menon is the Principal for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (Asia-Australia). She has over 20 years’ experience as a clinical hypnotherapist and is a Fellow of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis and the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is also the past president of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Being a hands-on Principal, Sheila lectures in London and Asia and is also one of the Directors of the LCCH Therapy Centre at Pantai Hospital KL. Sheila is also the international editor for the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and a regular contributor on BFM 89.9 Radio Station and for Shape magazine.

Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr M Mahadevan, is a former Government Chief Psychiatrist and Founder of the Malaysian Psychiatric Association. He is also the co-founding member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis, which was established in 1984. In 2008, the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis recognized his contributions in the field of clinical hypnosis and awarded him the Fellow of the BSCH. Tan Sri Dr. Mahadevan has been involved with clinical hypnotherapy for over 55 years. He has worked with some of the most important researchers and contributors to clinical hypnotherapy – Dr. John Hartland (UK), Dr. Herbert Spiegel (USA), Dr. David Spiegel (USA) and Mr. Michael Joseph (UK). Tan Sri Dr. Mahadevan became an adviser to the LCCH Asia in 2007. He attended each of the courses and approved the quality and standards of the teaching. In 2010, he launched the Harvard Travelling Fellowship.

Peter Mabbutt is the Global CEO and Director of Research for the LCCH. He combines 20 years of psycho-pharmacology with two decades of clinical hypnotherapy practice. Besides being a lecturer at LCCH, he is also a Clinical Hypnotherapist at the Guy's Hospital, St. Thomas' Hospital and Southwark Council 'Health Education. Peter is also a member of the editorial team for the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and a Fellow of the BSCH.

Dr. Alan Soh is the Medical Director of the LCCH Asia and the President of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is also a general medical practitioner with his own practice in Shah Alam, Selangor, where clinical hypnotherapy is offered both as an adjunct to medical practice and as a stand-alone clinical hypnotherapy option. Dr. Alan is actively pioneering the research into the use of clinical hypnosis and surgery and is the Course Leader for the Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. He believes that symptoms are an expression of a delicate interplay of biological, psychological and social factors. His training as a medical doctor has enabled him to manage the biological components of diseases, whilst his experience in clinical hypnotherapy enables him to practice holistic medicine and address the psychological and social components of illnesses. Dr. Alan is a visiting Hypnotherapy Consultant at the University Malaya Medical Centre’s Chronic Pain Clinic. Dr. Alan holds a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and a Specialist Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He lectures at all levels of courses offered at LCCH Asia.
