Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that the way we think about situations can affect the way we feel and therefore the way we behave. The CBT Therapy is short term (between 6 – 10 sessions) goal orientated and designed to help patients identify the relationship between unhelpful thoughts, behavior and feelings.
The Course
This course is designed to introduce students to the Becks Model and Ellis model of CBT.
For many the five (5) weekend training will provide the tools for change and the insights necessary to inspire personal change. It is powerful, practical and simple to use.
This course is open to healthcare professionals, psychology graduates and mature candidates.
